More about Dr. Harry Motro

Dr. Harry Motro has a passion for couples therapy. He has seen the pain that broken relationships cause not only for the couple but the whole family. A couple’s relationship sets the foundation for the next generation, for better or for worse. Yet many couples are woefully unprepared for marriage. With the right help, much can be done preventatively to build more successful marriages.

Dr. Motro sees divorce as an AVOIDABLE squandering of human potential. That is why he has dedicated his work to helping couples strengthen relationships, enjoy each other, and break from generations of self-destructive behavior.

Traditional passive marriage counselors who say “uh-huh, uh-huh” will be blown away with most couples in conflict. To manage marital combat, Dr. Motro gets in there and mixes it up with couples but maintain a firm hand so the dialogue stays safe enough to be vulnerable. At the same time, Dr. Motro naturally see the good in others, and gives them the benefit of the doubt, which lifts them up and allows them to recognize their own strengths.

Dr. Motro is 58 years old and married for 34 years, He has something else to offer – the lessons he has learned from his own mistakes. Dr. Motro’s hope is that all the grief; all the crises; all the painful lessons in his life can be put to use. Everything he has gone through he brings in his soul to provide compassion and support for you
