Our providers are committed to empowering you outside of session. We embrace Dr. Lucking’s 167 Therapy model that says there are 168 hours in a week. If you spend 1 hour in therapy or coaching what happens during the other 167 hours? We empower you with tools, resources, referrals, and accountability. We help you shape the path to create habits of change and reach your goals.

- Free 20 minute phone consult to answer your questions and decide on the best therapist or coach for you.
- Intake by a provider of your choice who helps you with your treatment plan and then decides if he or she is best to work with for your treatment. In some cases therapy and coaching is valuable to move your treatment along. We support a team approach to help you reach your goals.

Who is the best therapist or coach for me?
You can read about our team here. You can also let us help you decide via a free phone consult or an initial intake session. The provider who does your intake session does not have to be the provider you ultimately work with.
How much will therapy or coaching cost?
Our fees range from $150 to $250 per full 50 minute session. During your intake we match you with the best provider that will meet your needs and is also appropriate for your financial means.
What about insurance?
Our providers are primarily our of network to most insurance plans. Yet we do offer insurance super bills for therapy and coaching. This allows you to get reimbursed for fees according to your plan’s benefits. We can also help you understand your plan’s benefits and assist with single case agreements. Single case agreements allow you to get in network benefits for out of network providers.
How long will my treatment take and how will I know it is working?
Treatment length varies from a single session to long term support for those who want ongoing life optimization. Research shows real change starts in 6 to 10 sessions. This varies widely based on duration and severity of presenting problems or goals. Feedback is as important to us as transparency. We offer online feedback forms as well as in session assessments to make sure you are getting what you need. Assessments and tools are part of our DNA at Silicon Valley Therapy. Dr. Lucking is a former Microsoft engineer and he values measuring success.
